    Be sure to make time to sample the local beers – there are seven breweries in Portland, all of which offer tours. Work up a thirst by visiting the 19th century brick buildings and quaint shops at the Old Port Exchange downtown.

    Surrounded by Acadia National Park, this picturesque Eastern Seaboard town offers some truly stunning scenery, as well as charming boutiques, great dining and plenty of outdoor activities.
