Caribbean travel update

We visit over 30 destinations in the Caribbean region, the vast majority of which have remained open for our ships to dock in their ports and for our guests to enjoy their islands while four of our destinations were directly impacted by the hurricanes.

Royal Caribbean leadership recently returned from visits to St. Thomas, San Juan (Puerto Rico) and St. Maarten. We continue to be inspired and impressed with the progress the islands are making to rebuild, and are excited to announce our return dates to the following ports:

  • Charlotte Amelie, St. Thomas – mid-November '17
  • San Juan, Puerto Rico – late November '17
  • Philipsburg, St. Maarten – late December '17

While St. Croix is also still recovering from the impact of the storms, we are excited to be able to resume our calls to this beautiful destination from mid-January 2018. Unfortunately, due to the devastation in Dominica, we will be cancelling our calls through summer 2018, and continue to work with the local government on a return date.

Michael Bayley, President and CEO, Royal Caribbean International said "Supporting these destinations that are so reliant on tourism is key to the future of the islands and the best thing we – as travellers and businesses – can do for the islands."
