Golden Week

If you’ve ever wanted to explore Asia, then this is the cruise for you. Your holiday begins in the bustling city of Hong Kong where you can indulge in a traditional Yum Cha lunch, and marvel at the incredible cityscape, before boarding the Voyager of the Seas and setting sail for Xiamen. Once in Xiamen, you and the kids can disembark for a spot of sightseeing. You’ll have a day to explore the local shops, discover the historic temples and stroll along the tree-lined beaches. The next port of call is Okinawa, Japan, but before that you’ll have a day onboard to enjoy the wide array of things on offer. Our kids clubs are open to children from the age of 6 months up to 17 years, and include lots of great activities and entertainment. Meanwhile, you have the whole ship at your disposal. Relax at the spa, indulge in a delicious meal, or take a dip in the pool – the possibilities are endless! After an overnight stay at sea, you’ll arrive at Okinawa where you can take a trip to the magnificent Shuri Castle, the palace of Ryūkyū Kingdo, and wonder at its beautiful architectural style. Then, after a day in port, it’s time to hop back onboard on your way to Hong Kong, with a whole day to spend on the ship, doing whatever takes your fancy. While onboard you can play a round of family mini-golf. While onboard you can play a round of family mini-golf.

Step onboard the Majesty of the Seas for this four-night cruise around the Bahamas, starting in Miami, Florida. Before setting sail you and your family can talk and walk along the sandy beaches, soak up that gorgeous Floridian sun, and feast at some of the best beach restaurants. On top of that, if you need to do any last-minute shopping, or you just feel like picking up something new, you’ll certainly be spoilt for choice in Miami. After one night at sea, you’ll wake up to the beautiful surroundings of the Bahamas’ capital city, Nassau. Summer temperatures in Nassau are between 25 and 30°C – perfect weather to stroll around town and even better weather for a day at the beach. Spend the evening at one of the many onboard restaurants or perhaps take the kids to a theatre show, and by morning you’ll have made it to CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s exclusive island. While docked at CocoCay you can choose from a whole host of family-friendly activities including snorkelling, jet skiing, kayaking and more. As well as all the great activities on the island, there’s also lots of opportunity to relax, with plenty of great bars and places to eat. The next stop on the Bahamas cruise is Key West, Florida, the birthplace of key lime pie and the former home of Ernest Hemmingway. Visit the Coral Reef State Park and fish-watch in a glass-bottomed boat, take a tour of Hemmingway’s house and learn all about his time in Florida, and finish the day with some of Key West’s diverse cuisine, a result of the melting pot of cultural influences in the area. Norwegian Fjords

This seven-night cruise onboard the Serenade of the Seas will take you on a tour of the breath-taking Norwegian Fjords, stopping at various interesting and unique places along the way. The cruise begins in Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark, where the whole family can explore the city by bike and experience some of the wonderful culture the city has to offer. Once onboard, you can enjoy the fabulous food, luxurious shopping and fun entertainment that comes as standard with Royal Caribbean. Each day you’ll find yourself in a new place as the ship makes its way through the Fjords, docking at Stavanger, Bergen, Alesund and Geiranger. Visit Domkirke Cathedral in Stavanger, ascend Mt. Fløyen by railway in Bergen, and witness the beautiful architecture of Alesund. In Geiranger, be sure to pay the Seven Sisters waterfall a visit; the kids will be amazed, and so will you. Two days of the cruise will be spent at sea and with so much for families to do while onboard, there will never be a dull moment. Have a go at rock-climbing, watch a film at the cinema or take the kids to the Adventure Ocean Youth Area – that’s just a few of the things you can do.
