Six Things You Didn't Know About Navigator of the Seas

By JoMonday 04th September 2017

Planning your next holiday, but not sure what you want? Find out what it is that makes Navigator of the Seas so special, and maybe even discover something you didn't know before.

1. More Immersive Mediterranean Experiences

One of the fantastic things that Navigator offers, is the length of holiday. Step onboard, and you can sail the Mediterranean for two weeks, stopping off at glorious destinations along the way. Sailing from the UK, visit Palma, Lisbon and Cagliari on your journey, where you can bask under the sun and become immersed in the different cultures.
Or, join our fortnight long adventure to Spain. Where we stop off at Barcelona, Cartagena, Seville and Málaga and more gorgeous Spanish ports. Every destination has its own unique feel and culture, so you'll never want to stop exploring!

2. Discover the Hidden Beauty of Northern Europe

It's not just the Mediterranean that Navigator sails around for longer, but Northern Europe too, with an overnight stop in the illustrious St. Petersburg.
Navigator will take you to the mystical Scandinavia, stopping in ports such as Norway, Denmark and Finland where they are rich with culture, history and stunning architecture.
You don't just have to stop off at hot beaches on a cruise, there is so much of the world on offer, why not experience it all?

3. There is so Much to See and Do on Navigator

There isn't a moment for boredom on Navigator. Perhaps the most exciting addition to the new Navigator is the FlowRider, our famous surf simulator that lets you ride the waves and perfect your cutback.
FlowRider isn't the only way to have fun on the ship! Join in with other exciting activities, like ice skating or rock climbing.
Just because you're at sea doesn't mean you have to miss out on what's happening in the world. You can still check out all the latest releases on the giant movie screen.
Once you've had your fun with the onboard activities, settle down for some amazing entertainment. Whether it's a Broadway-style show, poolside movie screening or incredible ice skating shows, there is no way you'll get bored in the evening.

4. Amazing Kid's Clubs

Navigator is guaranteed fun, no matter what age you are. From babies to teenagers, everyone is catered for. Bring your little ones to our award winning kids' clubs for them to have an amazing time onboard.
For our Royal Babies, they can play in the nursery, developing their skills and having fun with their new friends. Older children can join Adventure Ocean or Voyagers, and have the time of their life getting involved in the games, parties and sports.
Teenagers have their own place to hang out too. The Teen Zone holds DJ Academies, pool parties and spa treatments designed for teens.

5. Experience a New Kind of View

Even if you aren't staying in an Ocean View Room, you can still see the sea from your bed. Some of Navigator's interior staterooms are fitted with Virtual Balconies. These LED screens give real-time projections of the ocean and destinations, as if you were looking at the real thing.
Or, sail in a Panoramic Stateroom, with floor to ceiling windows giving you an incredible view, wherever you are sailing.

6. You'll Never Go Hungry on Navigator

We all know how important food is when you're on holiday, and now it's your chance to try a new cuisine and really indulge. There's no trouble about running out of dining options on Navigator.
A taste of Asia is coming to Navigator. Sabor is being transformed into an Indian restaurant, for selected sailings. Aromatic curries, samosas and more will be found in Sabor for 2017 European sailings.
Even the classics have had a revamp - Chops Grille now includes delicious new additions to their menu, such as the slow braised short rib of beef.
Want to dine with a sea view? Navigator is the only ship where the speciality sushi restaurant Izumi overlooks the ocean. It's just a little touch of luxury that makes your California Roll more special.
If you are too tired after a long day of adventuring, you can take advantage of the 24-hour room service, and dine in bed - a real holiday treat!
