The groundbreaking and technologically advanced ships, Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas, will be sailing from New York in November 2014 and from Southampton in April 2015, respectively. To give you the low-down on the exciting, innovative new things to see and do onboard Quantum of the Seas, we asked TV presenter and all-round gadget pro, Jason Bradbury to tell us what he makes of our most innovative class of ships yet. Here we look at what Jason can’t wait for us try out onboard Quantum of the Seas.

Ripcord by iFly

If you’ve always wanted to try out sky-diving, but haven’t quite worked up the courage yet, then Ripcord by iFly is the perfect opportunity for you to give it a go. Feel the gusts of wind lift you up as you spin, twirl and twist through the air, all the while taking in the magnificent views of ocean around you. It will definitely be your holiday’s WOW moment.

North Star

To see even more of the vista as you cruise, then take a ride on the North Star; a giant pod that raises to around 300-feet above the sea! Once you’ve sat back and relaxed, the North Star will slowly take you on a trip around the outside of the cruise ship, making sure you get perfect 360° views of the breathtaking scenery, and sea below.

Sea Plex

Do you and your kids love a little holiday adventure? If you do, you’re bound love Sea Plex, the largest indoor activity space at sea! From racing around in bumper-cars, roller skating with friends, to even learning circus tricks at our onboard circus school, you and your family will always have something fun to do at the ever-changing Sea Plex.

Arguably the most technologically advanced addition to our cruise family, is the inclusion of the Two70 venue onboard Quantum of the Seas.  During the day, Two70 is the perfect setting for a relaxing day with your family, whether for lunch or simply just a coffee. But, by using choreographed, giant robotic screens and state-of-the-art projectors, the entire Two70 room is transformed into an amazing entertainment venue during the evening.
