Act Your Shoe Size on Harmony of the Seas

By BijalWednesday 15th June 2016

As you may already know, some time ago, we did a special study to see how adults can be happier. We teamed up with the experts at Playful Being to measure individuals’ ability to act in a fun, carefree and childlike way. We found out that the key to being happier is playfulness. The best way to be more playful? Act your shoe size!

To put our study to the test, we invited two families – the Poulters and the Taylors – onboard Harmony of the Seas’ pre-inaugural sailing.
You're never too old to act your shoe size. You're never too old to act your shoe size.

The Mission

We wanted the kids to help mum and dad be more playful because, as mum, Catherine Taylor, says “it’s essential to have a laugh now and then, otherwise life would be so mundane.” So we set them a mission. We asked the kids to take their parents on an adventure around the ship and make sure they started acting their shoe size.

The Results

Both families had a great time exploring the ship and it seems that playfulness was out in full force! They tried out many of the fun activities – Ultimate Abyss, Rock Wall, Bionic Bar – and mum and dad got the chance to act their shoe size.

How can you act your shoe size onboard Harmony of the Seas?

1. Zip Line: Feeling brave? Soar through the air, over Central Park, on Harmony of the Seas’ Zip Line. We bet you’ll want to go more than once.
2. FlowRider: Hang ten on some gnarly waves on our onboard surf simulator, FlowRider. Beginners welcome!
3. Mini Golf: A great activity for the whole family, head over to the Mini Golf course for a friendly round.
4. Wonderland: Relive your childhood as you venture down the rabbit hole at the Wonderland restaurant. You won’t believe your taste buds.
5. Ultimate Abyss: The tallest slide at sea is the ultimate way to act your shoe size… if you can hold your nerves.
6. Rock Wall: One of our families made mum and dad race to the top, why not challenge your family to do the same?
7. Ice Rink: Try out your ice skating skills on our onboard Ice Rink – the whole family will love it.
8. Bionic Bar: For a drinking experience like no other, place your order at Bionic Bar, our onboard robotic bar.
