10 Signs You’re a Royal Caribbean Cruise Addict

By BijalWednesday 04th February 2015

Do you often find yourself staring out of your office window, daydreaming about a cruise to the Caribbean or dining at one of the brand new Quantum Class restaurants? Well, if it’s a yes, you might well be a fully-fledged cruise addict. To help you get the correct diagnosis, we’ve put together a list of the top ten signs of being a true cruise fan, from fantasising about life at sea, to knowing the names of your favourite crew members. So, check out the symptoms and see how in love with cruising you really are.

1. When you’re not cruising, you’re planning your next holiday

140723_040 So, you’ve just got back from a dream holiday to Western Caribbean, where you split your time between sipping cocktails at the Royal Caribbean pool bar and snorkelling in the sea. The only reasonable thing to do next is start planning your next Royal cruise, right? Of course!

2. You spend most of your week daydreaming about Johnny Rockets and Izumi

140722_833 From the classic cuisine in the Main Dining Room, to mouth-watering dishes in our specialist restaurants, we don’t blame you for craving a meal or two!  Plus, with our brand-new range of incredible restaurants onboard our Quantum class ships, you’ll now have even more choice when eating out on holiday.

3. You’re always counting down the days until your next Royal holiday

You’re always counting down the days until your next Royal holiday Have you got ten days left until your next cruise, or 150? However long you’ve got left, you’re always counting down the days until you next get to sail around your favourite destinations.

4. The Crew know you by your first name

140720_368 Whether it’s the server at the Two70° Bar, or the waiter at Chic, you know all of your favourite crew by name, and they know yours.

5. You know your RoboShow from your RoboBar

141031_157 You know all about Royal’s fantastic new technological features, dancing along with the Roboscreens inside Two70°, to ordering your favourite cocktail at the brilliant Bionic Bar.

6. You can answer Royal Caribbean FAQs without needing our FAQ blog post!

7. You’re a pro on the FlowRider, and know your SeaPlex from your Solarium

141031_820 From catching waves on FlowRider, to floating through the air on RipCord iFly, and even learning to dance in the Music Hall, there’s plenty to do onboard, and you’ve probably ticked everyone off your list at least once.

8. Your mobile phone is full of cruise holiday photos

Quantum of the Seas, launch photos. Whether you spend your spare moments flicking through the photos from your trip, or have your favourite cruise photo as your screen saver, there’s no escaping your last holiday onboard. Just make sure there’s plenty of room left for a second round of photos, from posing with Felicia, our giant pink polar bear, to Instagramming pics of your favourite dishes.

9. You’re a Crown and Anchor Society member

140720_748 As a loyal Royal Caribbean guest, you’ve earned your Crown and Anchor Society badge. On top of being a member, you can reap the amazing benefits, from a number of special offers to member cruises with your fellow cruising pals. Haven’t signed up yet? Find out how here.

10. You met some of your best friends onboard

141101_1107 The final true sign that you’re a cruise addict is that most of your close friends are cruise lovers too! Whether you met them at your favourite restaurant, or whilst dancing to the live music in the Music Hall, you probably still keep in contact with the friends you made during your time onboard. You maybe even plan your holidays together!

Do any of these sound familiar?

If they do, you’re more than likely a Royal Caribbean cruise addict! If you can’t wait to start getting ready for your next holiday, make sure you check out the amazing destinations we sail to, and our current offers.
