The Anthem of the Seas Twitter Roundup

By DavidTuesday 05th May 2015

It’s been just over two weeks since Anthem of the Seas’ pre-inaugural cruise and naming, and to celebrate we thought we’d look back over everyone’s time onboard, reminiscing over the best Tweets. So, get reading and see if you can spot any of your own conversations from our top selection!

There was plenty of build-up leading to the big day, with hundreds of people tweeting about their excitement!

Anticipation for Anthem’s pre-inaugural sailing was high, so much so that one of our fantastically creative fans couldn’t resist drawing up an impeccably detailed picture of the ship.

Crowds soon began to gather around the ship as it docked in Southampton.

And people were soon sharing their snaps of the ship, with Gigi the giraffe even making an appearance.

After its initial docking, our guests were soon allowed onboard to experience this incredible ship for themselves.

Luckily, we were blessed by incredible weather, so everyone was soon making the most of the glorious UK sunshine.

After enjoying the sun, it wasn’t long before people were trying out the incredible features onboard, such as the SeaPlex.

Our friends, Only Boys Aloud, were soon onboard too, making new friends as they explored the ship.

On top of the games, activities and all-round buzz onboard, guests were also treated to plenty of inspiring pieces of art, including this interactive chandelier.

And for those who just wanted to relax, there was the Solarium, where sun glittered through the glass roof and palm trees added to the already soothing atmosphere.

As the sun set and the evening events began, people were soon able to relax with a drink in hand.

And, whether it was before or after an entertaining show, we were all able to look forward to a delicious meal at one of the top restaurants onboard.

Before we knew it, the time we spent onboard had come to an end, and we were all waving goodbye to Anthem of the Seas. Well, until next time.
