Top 5 Things to do in Dubai

Dubai is one of the hottest and most glamorous places to go on holiday. We’ve put together a list of the top 5 things to do during a trip to this cosmopolitan city, so take your pick.

Take in the views at the Burj Khalifa

Image and video hosting by TinyPic Make your way to the top of the World’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, and take in the magnificent views of Dubai’s skyline. Take the high speed elevator to level 124, where you’ll be greeted by floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a 360° view of the city, desert and ocean below. You and your family can spend as long as you wish on the observation deck, using the telescopes to get a closer look at what’s around you. And, if you or your kids want to take away some souvenirs of your experience up above, head to the observation deck’s shop.

Shop ‘til you drop at the Dubai Mall

Window shop at a range of luxury stores, such as Valentino and Michael Kors, and treat you and your kids to some delicious cupcakes from the mouth-wateringly good Hummingbird Bakery. Don’t worry about your kids getting bored either, there’s a whole variety of great things to see do inside the mall. There’s one of the world’s biggest fish tanks, which has over 400 sharks and rays swimming throughout it – something your kids are bound to love!

Relax at Jumeirah Beach

At the park beside the beach, your kids can play along and make some new friends at the children’s playground, while you prepare a tasty barbeque lunch and take shade under the swaying palm trees – bliss!

Wander around Safa Park

Cool down at each of the park’s three lakes, and witness the beautiful cascading waterfall, or take your kids bird watching and see which of the 200 species you can spot.

Have fun at Wild Wadi Waterpark

A great way to do this is by taking you and your family to the Wild Wadi Waterpark. If you’re in the mood for fast, adrenaline soaked rides then hop on to Tantrum Alley and Burj Surf for some slippery loops and twists! If you prefer a slower pace, then head on down to Flood River, grab a doughnut ring and enjoy a lazy ride along the river – watch out for the hidden rapids and faster currents to keep you on your toes! On top of the fantastic rides, your kids can have fun with water pistols, as well as wave and surfing machines! After all that, be sure to pop by one of the three on-site restaurants for a bite to eat!
