If you’re flying all the way to Orlando to start your Royal Caribbean holiday, it’s a shame to miss out on all this iconic city has to offer. So, grab your camera and discover Orlando!
Experience the Theme Parks

Orlando is famous for its theme parks; many people holiday here just to do a tour of the different ones. However, with so much to see and do in Orlando, we recommend heading to at least one park, before exploring the rest of the city.
One of the best theme parks to visit is
Universal Studios. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you don’t need to wait for your acceptance letter to
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Or, perhaps you are looking for a wild watery adventure? If so, Volcano Bay has some of the coolest waterslides in Orlando; including one with a 70ft drop! Your time at Volcano Bay will definitely get you prepared for the water activities on
our ships, including the
FlowRider.
Perfect Your Putt on the Golf Courses
There are over 170 golf courses in Orlando and 20 academies. Orlando is where those most serious about the pastime head, either to watch tournaments or to play a few holes themselves.

One of the best courses to visit is the Bay Hill Club & Lodge, located at Arnold Palmer’s winter home. It’s a flat course that features seven lakes, so make sure you don’t hit any balls into the drink. The course can get quite breezy, so be aware of that when you’re planning your shots.
Hit the Shops
If being thrown upside down on a rollercoaster, or spending the day on the golf course aren’t your top choices for your break, there’s no need to worry. Orlando is famous for its shopping, and you can be sure to pick up some new holiday outfits here.

There are two main malls in Orlando, The Mall at Millenia, and The Florida Mall. The Mall at Millenia is famous for its designer brands such as Prada, Gucci and Chanel. The Florida Mall is known for the huge range of brands - definitely the place to come if you’re looking for that All-American mall experience.
Tibet-Butler Nature Preserve
Many people don’t think about the hidden nature of Orlando, instead they are mostly focused on the theme parks and golf courses that put the city on the map. However, there is a whole natural world to uncover, and the best way to do that is to hike through Tibet-Butler Nature Preserve.

On a hike through this nature preserve, you will see pine forests, a butterfly garden, and (as it’s Florida) swamp lined lakeshore.
