Juneau, Alaska

Things to Do

A Helicopter Ride through the Glaciers

Live the high life as you take a helicopter ride over the Alaskan glaciers. You’ll also be treated to breath-taking sights of snow-capped peaks, waterfalls and miles of luscious forestry. It’s difficult to grasp just how vast Alaska is until you see it from a different perspective.

Meet the Huskies!

Come down to earth and get whisked away by a pack of Alaskan huskies across the snow. Afterwards, professional mushers will teach you the art of dog sledding! Speeding through picturesque scenery at full pelt with new furry friends will create unforgettable memories with your nearest and dearest.

Be at One with Nature

Alaska is a nature-lover’s haven. You’ll have plenty of wildlife to look out for, as otters, seals and orcas often make an appearance. You can discover more of ‘The Last Frontier’ with a whale-watching tour, a hike down a nature trail, or watch beautiful black bears feeding on salmon from a private viewing area. You simply can’t beat the great outdoors!

Fun Fact

On June 21st every year, Alaska experiences daylight for a whole 18 hours and 18 minutes. Even in the middle of the night, the sun is high in the sky.

Hubbard Glacier, Alaska

At Sea

As you sail across the calming waters of Alaska’s Inside Passage route, you’ll pass scenic mountain ranges scattered with Sitka spruce trees. Breathe in the pure air while looking out for Steller sea lions, Dall’s porpoises, eagles and puffins. There’s no doubt your jaw will drop as the Hubbard Glacier appears. Standing above the water at a tremendous 350 feet, the natural wonder stretches for over 76 miles. Marvel from the bow of the ship and prepare to have your breath taken away.

Fun Fact

The icy water in Alaska is rich in nutrients, which is ideal for providing food for the creatures that inhabit it.

Vancouver

Keeping Active

With the North Shore mountains as a backdrop, Vancouver is known as a hub of wholesome enjoyment. It’s a great place to keep active, surrounded by some spectacular views. Cycle around Stanley Park, stopping at the infamous 700-year old Hollow Tree, or hike into the mountains to enjoy panoramic views of the city.

A Day on Granville Island

Take a boat journey over to the quirky Granville Island to explore its eccentric atmosphere. Cafes, galleries and markets full of fresh, tasty local delicacies line the waterfront. You can also indulge in some improvisational comedy, watch a classic play or opt for a contemporary theatre production!

Soar above Ketchikan

If you fancy seeing the city from a different angle, climb onboard a 450-horsepower floatplane and take a flightseeing tour. Soar over the city of Ketchikan before stopping at the charming George Inlet Lodge to enjoy a delectable feast of Alaskan cuisine. You can dine on fresh smoked salmon, Dungeness crab and cheesecake with sweet Alaskan blueberries.

Fun Fact

Did you know that Stanley Park is 10% larger than New York City’s Central Park? It’s an incredible 1001 acres!
