There are plenty of choices of places to go to experience Florentine cuisine, whether you choose a street vendor, restaurant or a food market. For an authentic Florentine dining experience, and for a reasonable price, visit Trattoria La Casalinga.  A nice small family orientated restaurant situated on the Piazza Santo Spirito in the Artisan quarter, Trattoria la Casalinga caters for adults and kids alike. The restaurant boasts a varied menu, ranging from pasta dishes to the world-renowned juicy and flavourful Beefsteak Florentine. After a busy day exploring the rich history of Florence and sampling the tastes of the region, why not treat yourself and the kids to some Gelato?  Gelato stands are plentiful and offer a wide list of different flavours - what a wonderful way to cap off your time in Florence!
