As anyone who has visited will know, the Caribbean is a lovely part of the world, from the sunny weather to the friendly people and everything in between. For most visitors, us included, it’s love at first sight. The Caribbean includes 7,000 picturesque islands and what better way to visit them, than on a cruise? To give you an idea of the amazing things you can do while visiting these islands, we’ve selected a few of our favourite island activities and shore excursions. Read on to find out more.

Dunns River Falls in Jamaica

Just one hour from Falmouth (Royal Caribbean’s Jamaican port), are the stunning Dunns River Falls. Our falls excursion gives you the opportunity to climb this world-famous, natural landmark and experience its beauty first-hand.

History in St. Kitts

Whether you’re a history buff or not, Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park is a great place to spend a few hours while in St. Kitts. As you may have guessed, the main attraction in this UNESCO-protected park is the Brimstone Hill Fortress, which overlooks the perfectly blue ocean waters.

Helicopter tour in Grand Cayman

Experience Grand Cayman from a unique perspective with our exhilarating helicopter tour. Soar high into the air before  flying low over Seven Mile Beach, Stingray City and your own cruise ship, giving you exceptional views of the beautiful, white sands and crystal-clear ocean, glistening in the sun.

Dining in Grenada

Grenada is one of world’s largest producers of nutmeg and mace, earning it the nickname, ‘the island of spice.’ And that’s just the beginning of this island’s epic culinary offering. Its national dish, Oildown, is a wonderful combination of breadfruit, onion, celery, carrot, salted meat, dumplings and coconut milk, slowly cooked to become a flavoursome stew. It’s simply delicious.

4x4 tour in St. Martin

Enjoy St Martin’s lovely scenery with our 4x4 tour across the island, from Grand Case to Marigot. The tour will take you past key landmarks, sights and lookout points, finishing up at Mullet Bay Beach where you can cool off with an ocean dip and relax on the pretty shores.

Beach days in Barbados

The Caribbean is home to some of the world’s best beaches - that’s a fact. Barbados has over 60 beaches, some with pink-tinged sands (coloured from crushed coral reef) and some with bright white stretches. For shallow reefs and coconut palms, head to Bottom Bay Beach, and for windsurfing and other water sports, visit Silver Rock Beach.
