Benefits

What changes took place to the Crown and Anchor programme in January 2011?
On 21 January 2011, we made further enhancements to our programme, based on our members' feedback.

If you remember, our June updates included:
- A new exclusive onboard booking bonus for Crown & Anchor Society members. As a member you will be able to use the exclusive onboard booking bonus with either your Crown & Anchor Society savings certificates OR Platinum & Diamond balcony & suite discounts.
- Priority notification of special offers and information.
- Increased value in the ultimate value coupon book by tier.
- We have also added additional Loyalty Ambassador staff on board to better serve our members. All ships (except Legend of the Seas) will have at least two full-time loyalty staff members.

We are continuing in this tradition with:
- Cruise Points – a new way to earn your membership status.
- New levels of recognition – we're adding 'Emerald' and 'Pinnacle Club' membership tiers.
- Upgrade & welcome gift/amenity preferences – update your preferences online for upgrades or choose your welcome beverage if you are Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus or in the Pinnacle Club.
- A new website experience – enjoy exclusive access to personalised, member-only benefits, offers, promotions and more.
PLUS
- Receive an exclusive Crown & Anchor Society promotion from 21 January 2011 to 30 July 2011 with our 'Bring-a-Friend' promotion.
Did any members lose benefits with the changes in January 2011?
Nothing is leaving the current Crown & Anchor Society programme; our goal is to better recognise and reward our members. Onboard benefits will remain the same or be enhanced for better recognition. For a complete list of benefits, click here.

For example:

Your membership level will still be on your SeaPass card.
We will still have the Welcome Back Party with no changes for all members on voyages of seven nights or longer.
Our Platinum, Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members will continue to have a special event on cruises of three nights or longer.
We will continue to hand out crystal ship blocks to our guests starting with your 140th Cruise Point and at every other 70th Cruise Point afterwards. Additionally, we will deliver a special certificate to commemorate your transition to Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club.
Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members will have access to the Diamond Lounge on Freedom Class, Oasis and Allure of the Seas. On all other ships and itineraries, you will enjoy meeting friends in a special section of the dining room for breakfast and speciality coffees, as well as the Nightly Diamond Reception (event). All these activities will be mentioned in your DAY 1 letter from the Loyalty Ambassador.
Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members will still have Concierge Lounge access.

NEW ONBOARD BENEFIT: Emerald, Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle will enjoy a pre-selected Welcome gift which consists of a sweet, savoury and fruit snack, as well as a beverage of choice. Visit Gift Preferences to make your selection.

What are the benefits of Crown & Anchor Society membership?
Crown & Anchor Society membership entitles you to many exclusive benefits - from special savings on cruise holidays to exciting onboard offers on spa services, casino visits and much more. Our members get special gifts, cruise planning benefits and onboard events. Plus, the more you cruise, the more benefits you'll receive.
View the full list of benefits at our Crown & Anchor Society section online.

To ensure that you receive all the benefits you deserve, it's important to always provide your Crown & Anchor Membership Number when reserving your cruise.
What are Cruise Points and why do they matter?
Cruise Points are the way you earn membership status in the Crown & Anchor Society. You can earn one Cruise Point for every cruise night that you sail with us and DOUBLE the points when you purchase a suite. For instance, if you complete a 7-night cruise, you'll earn 7 Cruise Points and when you purchase a suite you'll earn 14 Cruise Points. Further terms and conditions apply. Points are not recorded or applied until after you complete your sailing. For example, if you are graduating from Gold to Platinum tier level on your current sailing, you will not receive Platinum level benefits until your next sailing.

Cruise Points are important if you are a member of the Crown & Anchor Society because the more Cruise Points you earn, the more benefits you enjoy. For a complete list of the membership levels and benefits of the Crown & Anchor Society, please see our Member Benefits page in the Crown & Anchor section on the RoyalCaribbean.com website.

We invite you to enjoy your first meal of the day in an exclusive breakfast area, a special location in the Main Dining Room, designated for Diamond and Diamond Plus members on ships without a Diamond Lounge. Every day from approximately 08:00 to 10:00 hrs, enjoy a full breakfast and complimentary speciality coffees. 2. We must be able to verify you as a Crown & Anchor Society member, so place your full name and Crown & Anchor Society number in your reservation.
3. Your guest must be sailing on a Royal Caribbean ship for the first time and we can verify full name and date of birth in their reservation. We also need an e-mail address or telephone number available for the guest.
4. Both you and your guest must be of 18 years of age or older.
5. Unfortunately we can't accept any reservations made with employee or travel agent rates and sailings within a group booking will not be accepted.
6. Your friend's booking MUST be made after 21 January 2011 although your booking can be made prior to this date.
7. Your friend can be in the same stateroom as yourself.

If you do not wish to register on line you can call the Loyalty Desk on 0844 493 5010 or 1800 932 356 in ROI. When do I qualify for a FREE cruise?
As of 21 January 2011 our Diamond Plus members with 100 cruise credits or more have been converted to our new Pinnacle Club tier level. Complimentary cruises, which previously started at 100 cruise credits for Diamond Plus members, will now be available for Pinnacle Club starting at 700 and 1,050 Cruise Points in a balcony stateroom for a minimum 7-night sailing. A complimentary suite will be provided at 1,400 Cruise Points and every 350 thereafter. The price of the cruise fare is included but taxes and fees are not included. See programme details for other restrictions.
What makes having a lapel pin so important for the Crown & Anchor Society?
It is important to us that our onboard staff are easily able to recognise you as a Crown & Anchor Society member. Although this information is on your SeaPass card, by wearing your CAS lapel pin, our onboard staff will be able to recognise you and provide the type of service that you expect as a returning guest and Crown & Anchor Society member.
What is priority notification?
We believe that our members deserve first access to special offers and new itineraries. Members who opt in to receiving e-mail with a current e-mail address will receive priority notice of all special offers ranging from close-in sailing specials to new itineraries.
What happens on a Member Cruise?
Members of the Crown & Anchor Society are invited to join us for cruises throughout the year at special savings not offered to the general public. You can participate in members-only events and activities, receive exclusive benefits and socialise with other Crown & Anchor Society members.
